I love all the air flow in the Trekker Palace! I am upgrading from the Trekker 2, and this tent is only slightly heavier. The Trekker 2 was hot to sleep in during summer, the Palace is the ground dweller version of hammock camping when it comes to ventilation. This is a very well designed tent.

Bought 5 trekker palaces for my Girl Scout backpacking group and they’re great. Lightweight for the kids to carry but strong enough to withstand kid wear and tear. Great prices too!!
I bought several of these to use for my scout backpacking group. They are lightweight enough for younger scouts to carry but sturdy enough to withstand kid challenges. And priced right!!
I have used this tent a few times now and I am very impressed with it. The quality of this tent was tested right outside of Big Bend National Park during the week of 03/03/2025 - 03/07/2025. It was during the beginning of this week that Texas experienced a severe wind event that originated somewhere in the vicinity of where I was camping, which resulted in sustained winds of 50-60 MPH and gusts over 70MPH. it sent dust all the to the Northern part of the US. The tent was staked very well, and remained upright the entire time with no rips or breakages. This speaks for itself, and I appreciate the workmanship and quality of this tent.
