This tent is a single layer tent, with rear and front air venting, if you are concerned more about condensation then the weight, we recommend the Trekker Tent 2.2, with its large mesh sidewalls the 2.2 has a lot more ventilation and is superior in high condensation settings.

The tent is very light weight, seems to be exactly what we were looking for as a backpacking tent. The company mailed it out fast also. The only issue with ours is tent bags looks as if it was cut in factory but doesn't effect product

Used for backpacking to alpine lakes in the Rockies and car camping on occasion. Light weight and easy to setup. Good protection in light rain. Used all seasons. Even in winter.
I bought a Trekker 2.0 a few years ago but only got to using it this year. It works well, sets up easily, keeps out the moisture, packs small and weighs little. It fit my young son with me on our last trip. I like it and will keep using it, and it is a great value! I also appreciate the one-piece construction. I tend to camp when the weather is cool or cold, so I think I am okay with the lack of side ventilation on this one. For a hot day maybe I would prefer the version 2.2 with the side vents.
